Job Summary:
The Identity Architect is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for defining the strategy of identity management throughout the company. This role will focus on implementing robust platforms and controls while ensuring the operations teams are well informed on the appropriate processes. The Identity Architect will work closely with various departments to understand their needs and provide guidance on best practices for identity and access management (IAM).
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development
- Define and develop the overall identity management strategy for the organization, aligning it with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the strategy incorporates security, scalability, and usability aspects of identity management.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the IAM space to continuously improve the strategy.
- Platform Implementation
- Design and implement identity and access management platforms to support the company's identity strategy.
- Ensure seamless integration of IAM solutions with existing systems and applications.
- Monitor the performance and effectiveness of IAM platforms, making necessary adjustments to enhance efficiency.
- Control and Compliance
- Establish and enforce identity management controls to secure sensitive information and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop policies and procedures for identity lifecycle management, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with IAM policies and identify areas for improvement.
- Operational Guidance
- Provide training and support to operations teams on IAM processes and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to address identity-related incidents and resolve issues promptly.
- Develop documentation and guidelines for IAM processes to ensure consistency and clarity across the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in identity and access management or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing IAM platforms and solutions in a large organization.
- Experience with IAM technologies such as Active Directory, LDAP, SAML, OAuth, and others.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to identity management, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX. Relevant certifications in identity and access management, such as Certified Information Systems Security
- Professional (CISSP) or Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM) are beneficial.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in IAM tools and technologies, with hands-on experience in configuring and managing IAM systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly motivated and self-driven, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A Master's degree is preferred.
This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $63.38/hour - $84.51/hour
